Friendly and informative staff! Generally find with most dentists treatment is often offered and carried out without much explanation as to why however this wasn’t the case when I had an appointment with this practice. I saw Richard Stewart who was very professional yet easy going and talked me through all my options. Great service would highly recommend. Phone service can be a nightmare but I find that’s just standard these days with GP’s and dental practices

Have been going to this dentist for as long as I can remember, but I’m seriously thinking of leaving. Since it was took over by another company the service has gone down hill rapidly.
The receptionists are blunt and sometimes ignore you, and last time I went I found out the dentist I’ve always had had retired. (Not a problem as I hadn’t trusted his judgement for a while anyway) but it would have been nice to be informed.

Really bad experience with this dental practise. I had an appointment to get new retainers made, I was promised they would be returned to the practise for a fitting before I had to return to university. Over a week later and the retainers are no where to be seen. I have tried multiple times on separate days to get through to reception, I am put on hold or hung up on each time or if I do get through they are less than helpful. They haven't even responded to a voicemail on how to make a formal complaint. Very disappointed, such a shame they used to be such a good practise.

Guys this place is amazing!!!?? I see a lovely dentist called Fatima and she has totally cured my intense fear of going to the dentist! I'm not good with pain and luckily she is so gentle but very thorough.... I've needed lots and lots of work doing which I have put off over the years due to my dear of pain and fear of the dentist and Fatima has done all of my work and I needn't have worried one bit! In fact I wish I knew about this place years ago! I can't sing their praises enough to be honest. Also the team there are lovely too, everyone is always smilinh.....and I am now too!!!! And on another note I am on benefits at this time as I am a carer for my mother and father and I received all of my treatment so far on the NHS and they honestly don't treat you any different to if you was paying cash.

after turning up for my 2pm appointment they tell me it's been cancelled without telling me then tryst to ring the next morning to sort out an emergency appointment no one answer the phone spent over an hour on hold not happy at all will be looking to change dentists

Today : Over half hour waiting on the queue on the phone and there excuse is we have no staff to answer the calls ! At this rate am not surprised you will have any patient left cause am sure as a family I will be leaving this practice will be looking-else where
I was also promised before not today by K .... that they doing everything to resolve the problem but the issue still remains if not worse !
and the best one is they ask to pay before you see your dentist !

In the 6 months since our last appointment I’m not sure what’s gone wrong. On trying to call for an appointment the phone was just left to ring out on 3 occasions.The reception staff where very ignorant when we arrived they didn’t even acknowledge us. My daughter was very scared about her procedure to which although patient with her the dentist was very abrupt and frankly made her worse. The only positive I could give is Beth who was bright and cheery and really helped the situation

I got to the dentist early had to wait ten min at long queue at reception then I was late for my appointment reception seems busy chaotic and lacks organisation I am a new patient but not impressed with the reception area and having to wait a long time just to check in

I went to Duncan Barclay for years and he was excellent. He has retired and i now have a superb new dentist in Malcolm Stewart who I cannot recommend highly enough.
Downside - Reception has hit rock bottom since the practice changed hands - inefficient, overly chatty to some patients and amongst themselves and generally not up to speed. Shame for that - otherwise would have given 5 stars.

2 emails sent ...no response
Contrary to answerphone appointments cannot be made on line if you just want appointment with Hygienist
Long wait at reception to check in whilst payments being taken
Upstairs waiting room is not appropriate environment

Would give 5 stars if it was for NEVER being able to get through to reception. I appreciate there are busy times but I can never get through. I rearranged an appointment but have still received reminders for the original date. Cannot get hold of anyone to ensure they haven't double booked me, very frustrating!

However, service from reception, dentists/hygienists is always very good/pleasant in person and is the reason I shall remain a customer.

Still pooping myself as I’m petrified of dentist, called the practice this morning and registered over the phone, then n there they made an appointment for me the same day as have a lot of pain, anyway got there filled the relevant paperwork in n walla, I get called into the room, the dentist was absolutely lovely n put up with my nervous chit chat. After having a tooth out years ago at the hospital it left me petrified of the dentist today I went to see dr maud who took two teeth out I was so scared but him and his nurse were brilliant with me and took into consideration my fears and have now helped me get over my fear I couldn’t thank them both enough and highly recommend them to anyone!
